At the Department of Arts & Culture, we understand the value and vitality the arts bring to our community – and beyond. San Antonio’s arts community depends on the hard work of many, including many nonprofit arts agencies. The COVID-19 crisis has impacted these arts agencies in big ways – cancelling programming and closing venues that generate revenues as well as the reduction of City operational grants due to the sharp decline in the Hotel Occupancy Tax revenue that finances these grants.
With your help, we can assist San Antonio nonprofit arts agencies in continuing their mission to bring arts and culture to all, even through this crisis. Your donation will be contributed to our operational grant program, in turn, directly supporting a diverse portfolio of art organizations working across the City of San Antonio in the production of ongoing, sustainable, high-quality artistic activities.
