"I Remember Everything (Chimney, Wing, Bench)" by Washington artist Ries Niemi is a series of three stainless steel outdoor works that are abstractions based on local symbols and history. A stylized wing-shape symbolizes aviation’s role in developing San Antonio.  A large open bench is styled loosely on the architecture of the Municipal Auditorium. The chimney-like column recalls limestone chimneys of local cement quarries. English, Spanish and German text wraps around each piece dealing with remembrance and the process of layering history.
