The awards are given in recognition of artistic achievement and dedication to an artistic discipline including literary, visual, and performing arts. Funded projects are to be completed by the end of the one-year grant period. Submissions will only be accepted through the online portal at AnyArtist.org through 11:59PM on February 24, 2021. In addition, an open call for Professional Development Funding for Artists is running concurrently from January 12–February 24, 2021. San Antonio artists can apply for professional development and technical assistance up to $500. This grant covers expenses such as workshops, conferences, seminars, software, production services, among other expenses that contribute to the creation of art. This grant is fully funded by the City of San Antonio’s Department of Arts & Culture and open to San Antonio residents only.
