PASA Studio is a multi-use public art space designed to showcase the public art process and educate the community on PASA initiatives happening throughout the city. The Studio is a place for the community to interact with artists and staff through artist presentations, tours, workshops and meetings of the City's Public Art Board.
PASA Studio schedules events for the public, but it is a staff workspace and venue for private meetings during business hours. Please call 210-206-ARTS if you want to visit the Studio during the business day.
PASA Studio is near the corner of Saint Mary’s and Pecan Street, at 400 North St. Mary's Street, Suite 101. The location is accessible and convenient to parking and public transportation.
Public Art San Antonio's Temporary Exhibits feature the work of local San Antonio artists in public buildings such as City Hall and the Municipal Plaza Building. The exhibits highlight the diversity of creative talent in San Antonio, including selections of both emerging and established professional artists who have graciously agreed to loan their artwork to contribute to the beautification of our city.
Exhibits rotate twice a year, normally once in the summer and once at the start of each year. For questions or additional information, email us. Artist applications are accepted year-round.
X Marks the Art
X Marks the Art is an initiative to activate underutilized and vacant downtown properties by introducing new, creative, dynamic installations and artistic happenings in downtown San Antonio. It sprang from the desire to create a downtown environment rich in opportunities for locals and visitors alike to participate in engaging cultural activities without needing to leave the heart of the City Center.
Projects have included installations in vacant storefronts and will include other types of activation of underutilized spaces including creative events and smaller urban art interventions.
For more details and to keep up to date on past, current, and upcoming projects, please visit the program site.
