The largest venue in La Villita Historic Arts Village, Mayor Maury Maverick Plaza can accommodate 2,500 people at a reception or 1,200 people for a seated function. It can be rented for wedding receptions, private parties, corporate functions or festivals, and has been home to the Maverick Music Festival and La Villita’s annual Día de los Muertos celebration to name a few. The plaza is surrounded by grape arbors and large tree beds, with a beautiful water feature in the center. The plaza lies in the shadow of the Tower of the Americas across from Hemisfair Park.
